Apart from the technology releases of the network there is also breakdown
 among the User Equipments that depends on their data throughputs as shown
in figure below. During the QoS audit category 14 devices were used which
 means that the maximum throughput that could be supported on such
a device was 21 Mbp.The network transmits data with different transport
block size depending upon the CQI values which has been reported by the UE.
The graph for Zong shows a consistent behaviour overall.
The trend shows that overall the network behaviour is very good.
The highest peak achieved is 21mbps
while the average values achieved is 6 Mbps.
If UE reports high CQI value the network transmits the data with large.

SIM selling outlets that are equipped with biometric verification machines

PTA’s guidelines, a customer can have maximum 5 SIMs against his/her CNIC

In case there are already 5 or more connections subscribed against the CNIC, the customer has to visit the service center of relevant operator.
Customer can also check registered SIMs against CNIC by sending 13 digit CNIC number at 668.
This will return the operator wise connection count for the submitted CNIC.
The Customer Service Representative/Franchise Representative/Retailer will
 check the CNIC for SIMs already issued. If 5 SIMs have already been issued
 on the respective CNIC, no further action can be taken.

For biometric SIM activation, you are advised to undertake the following steps:

Make sure to bring your original CNIC along with yo
Give your thumb impression on the biometric device for online verification through NADRA
Upon successful verification, collect your SIM from the authorized sales outlet
Your SIM will be activated within 30 minutes of successful biometric verification
In case of unsuccessful verification, sales agent shall inform the reason and provide further guidance
A big number of people are not familiar with biometric SIM activation because
 lack of guidance and unavailability of the said system’s procedure related
information advertisement, hence this non-proximity of biometric equipped
sales point is also hampering SIMs’ sales especially at the time when the
companies are in need of rapid growth owing to the introduction of new
generation technologies in Pakistan.
